Chicken Pot Pie

A warm hug for your soul made completely from scratch.

What’s in it?

  • Pasture-raised chicken, celery, carrots, potatoes, peas, onion, chicken stock, rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper inside a classic dough made with butter, flour, salt and water.

Where are the ingredients from?

  • Our chickens are from Green A Acres in Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina

  • We get as many ingredients as possible from local NC farms via Freshlist or local Charlotte Farmers Markets.

  • We bought ingredients from over 70 different North and South Carolina farms in 2022.

How is it made?

  • Sustainability is the name of the game for us. We make fresh chicken stock for each batch by slowly rendering flavor with fresh herbs and veggies. We use the entire chicken for its meat and also to infuse the stock with rich and hearty flavor. We take the long road with our dough, sautéed fresh vegetables for each batch and pull the chicken by hand. We compost all of our food waste and recycle, so we create very little landfill trash.

A stick-to-your-ribs comforting meal that’s completely plant-based and vegan.

What’s in it?

  • Carrots, onions, celery, potatoes, shiitake mushrooms, vegetable stock, zucchini and summer squash, rosemary and thyme inside a classic dough made with Earth Balance butter, flour, salt and water.

Where are the ingredients from?

  • We get as many local vegetables as possible, sourced from local NC farms via Freshlist or local Charlotte Farmers Markets.

  • Urban Gourmet Farm, Barbee Farms, Cody Strawberry Farm and Terra Flora Farm are a few farms we love to support. We bought ingredients from over 70 different farms in 2022.

How is it made?

  • Much like the Chicken pot pie we try to be as holistic and sustainable as possible. Fresh veggie stock is made for each batch, slowly rendering flavor with fresh herbs and veggies. No vegetable goes to waste in our kitchen, we use all scraps to infuse the stock with rich and hearty flavor. The dough is made from scratch the old fashioned way and the veggies are sautéed fresh for each pie.

How are they served?

  • Take and Bake. We make the pot pie filling in-house and fold it inside a raw pastry crust and flash freeze it. All you have to do is toss it in the oven to heat the filling and toast the crust.
